March 2
We spent today preparing for a long passage. We got fuel and got the propane tank refilled (cooking) and got eggs and a stalk of bananas as well as several pounds of meat (ground meat and chorizo) - so tomorrow we get fruits/vegetables and hopefully some more meat, maybe clean the bottom, do a bit more laundry....and get ready for a leg that's nearly 3000 miles long. Let's hope there's enough wind that we can make it there before we perish from scurvy (just kidding - we have lemons and we'll get limes!). More importantly, we spoke to a distributor that should be getting coca cola light (diet coke) in 1/2 liter bottles at 5pm tomorrow - I'm hoping to get several cases!
We had a late night at the skipper's briefing....so it's off to bed to get ready for the last day in Galapagos - we've got to get ready for the next leg.
