Weak area of high pressure will slide E into W Atlantic across the top of the Caribbean islands by tomorrow midday, and remain in place through 21/12 to 22/12. This ridging will remain fairly weak thru tomorrow night, then slowly strengthen from 17/12 thru 20/12 as reinforcing high pressure builds from the W Atlantic.  Elsewhere, the S end of a weakening cold front extends from 25N/60W SW to near windward passage.
