We spent the day at the Vet as the Hound (our Spinnaker) was taped and stitched. She’s looking a lot better and ready to get back to work. The scars are significant but it will work.
The fishing lines were out, caught a couple of Mahi Mahi but they weren’t big enough to feed 5 of us, so let them go. Also a BIG marlin estimated at over 100 kgs but after a few jumps and dances he was gone! Could’ve Would’ve Should’ve … the one that got away!!
Course is now more West towards The Caribbean; wind forecasts change with every update but very light winds from astern meant a very slow day. But other boats around us are in similar predicament. Lets hope for a little more wind tomorrow.
