We motored back up the canal in a flat calm, the surface of the water mirror like, and four hours later we were back into our berth at the marina. Sharing a Valentine's night dinner with John and Jenny in a restaurant in historic Pelourinho, we returned to pack our bags in readiness for an early morning 8am start.
