Ostrea - trade winds

Another day of northeasterly tradewinds passed. We still have 25 knots from the northeast and are still goosewinging our way to our waypoint 20 N 30 W. Cedric caught a couple of Mahi Mahis again and we need to switch to adifferent bait to try and get a tuna on the deck. We had VHF contact with another Dutch boat called Williams who seemed to have the same generator problems as we have been suffering over the passed days (all solved again now). The nights are still cold and we need to wear boots and coats to stay warm. During the day its a different story with mostly blue skies (some minor squalls with some 30 knots of wind and rain) Jan is currently hand steering in rather big seas to save amps and not to have to run the engine for electricity too long a day. The kids are doing well and although its difficult to do anything inside because of the boat movements everyone seems to enjoy themselves.

Best regards from the Ostrea crew!

Pieter
