SHORT RANGE SYNOPSIS VALID 06/23/1200 UTC to 06/25/1200 UTC

High (1028mb) centered over the Azores. Second high (1024mb) dominates much of the RR forecast zone near 49N/07W. This high pressure is weakening very slowly but nearly stationary. Low pressure (1002mb) near 52N/38W is deepening with a cold front extending from the low to the southwest. The cold front is moving east at 25 knots.

By 24/1200 UTC High (1022mb) near 49N/8W. Still moving very slowly and gradually weakening. Low (991mb) near 54N/32W with cold front extending from the low to 52N/19W then 45N/22W then on to the SW.
