Carinya is a 1998 Bill Dixon designed Taswell 49.
I bought her in 2015 and have since been a summer live-a-bord, cruising to the med ending up in Sicily. This has helped us learn about living on the boat and helped to progress our experience from coastal sailing to longer passage making.
We brought Carinya home to the UK in 2021 because of COVID and Brexit to prep for more permanently living on board. In doing so I performed my qualifying passage for the OCC.
Carinya has had a rolling replacement of old gear and I have added a parasailor, a hydrovane, a bimini tent, solar & wind charging and new water-maker in prepatration for our future plans.
