Rosiere - First full day at sea

After the excitement of yesterday's start and waving goodbye to family and friends we are starting to settle in. Unfortunately there has been no useful wind today so we've been slowly motoring. Things have changed this evening and we're sailing with the genoa poled out and main sail set on a preventer. We've been enjoying preprepared risotto that Caroline made for us and all is good aboard Rosiere. Today's highlights were a pod of whales swimming past on our portside and catching our first fish.
