Avanti - Day 1 - Smooth Sailing

What a great start yesterday!With mild winds and sunny weather, we were able to raise the spinnaker and enjoy the last views of landSteady winds pushed us across the Gulf Stream last night and today, and we've enjoyed a calm day with winds ~15knts.All equipment is running smoothly, and to stay occupied, Jeremi has been talking to the fish, Marek has been playing with gadgetry to find our fastest route, and Mike has been wondering what's happening in the world now that we're without internetOur onshore race team (read: amazing women that we miss very much) tell us that we may see some heavy weather later in the week.Still any more days to go - we wish all the other boats safe and happy sailing!!- Avantiimage1. read more...
