Lone Star - 5 May - Day 2 - Motor Boating
We are starting into the night shift rotation for our second night at sea. Our progress has been good due to a full day of motoring. We are hoping to pick up the winds that are projected to shift and start blowing from the south east soon, but right now at 1930 the true wind is 2.5 knots. Hopefully, we will become a sailboat sometime during the night.
We continued to drag two fishing lines today and lost a lure but have not landed a fish yet. The big treat tonight was the delicious dinner cooked by Ron. As it was during the ARC in 2011 everyone looks forward to the night Ron cooks because he always prepares something special.
