Well the Silver Slipper is now moored up in Ria Ribadeo
which is the boundary between Asturias and Galicia. Getting here has been frustrating
as the winds have been very light and on the nose but we did have a fantastic
crossing of Biscay from La Rochelle to Santander.
Plan to explore the Spanish
Rias down as far as Vigo and then head to Porto Santo and Maderia.
The crew,
including our dog Bumble are all very happy and enjoying our great adventure.
Just under 3 months until we leave Las Palmas so getting more excited as we get
closer to the big day.
Have not seen any ARC boats since Les Sables d’Olonne but we
fly our flag with pride and are still making new friends and it’s always a
great topic of conversation.
