At Last.. , our Jeanneau 53 performance, arrived in Las Palmas at the end of August after 2000 miles. Myself (Roberto) with my wife Jessica and our 3-year son Alessandro left Tunisia on July 26th. We had a great sailing with good wind and we reached Sardinia, Minorca, Maiorca, Ibiza, Formentera, Costa Blanca in Spain and finally we arrived in Benalmadena near Malaga, on August 18th, Here, Gian Cavaletto (a great sailor and a good friend) joined us. We then left for Ceuta and we passed the Gibraltar strait with good current and wind, pushing us at 9 knots. In 3.5 days of great sailing (and great waves too!) we arrived in Isla Graciosa, Lanzarote. We then spent a week, sailing the Canary Islands and visiting Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. Finally, on August 29th we arrived in Las Palmas where we docked At Last... waiting for the ARC 2013!
