Wings: Wed, Nov 6 -- morning blog.
Another day of rocking & rolling has started--with waves breaking over the deck, etc. Everybody is up and in good spirits, despite the frequent drenching courtesy of the Atlantic. The sun comes and goes with the occasional squall. The Winds are whipping. The seas are confused, which matches the mindset of the crew most of the time.
Bob, Dave and Tommy are tucked into the "Sea Camper 5000 XT" -- our nickname for the Bimini / dodger / plastic sides contraption that helps keep the weather out of the cockpit. At least, that' s the theory. Bob is telling stories; Dave is fantasizing about a drinking a Presidente; Tommy is at the helm; Howard is reading downstairs where I am blogging.
Cold breakfast again this a.m. -- we're now down to 3 boxes of Entenmann's -- our go-to food. We've also gone through about 2 lbs of coffee so far.
We're in shorts for the 2nd day -- a definite improvement. Rumor has it that the forward head isn't working -- am putting off confirming that for as long as possible.
.
Long-story-short: all is well.
More later...
