We celebrated yesterday's success with cold sodas and showers for everyone. After savoring every drop of fresh water in the shower, we actually feel quite human again. Decided it would be nice to have Chinese takeout for dinner, but were outside the delivery area. Had to settle for home made sweet & sour pork.
We've settled into a rhythm with our watches. Andi (It's Good to be Queen) starts the evening watch, followed by Steve (Rock Star) Runals, then Mike (Head Man), with Steve (Iron Man) Lunsford completing the cycle.
Last night's the cool breezes. The sea is the most gorgeous shade of royal blue, with mild swells gently rocking us onward. The night sky is littered with stars so bright, at times it seems they reach right down to the water. We had a dolphin escort out of the Chesapeake, then a couple of small birds hitched a ride off and on the first few days, and today spotted flying fish.
Everyone is catching up on sleep, after the pounding we took the first few days, and the mood is upbeat as our destination is slowly becoming a reality.
