Weather sunny and light sneaking down the African coast with the big kite
up, Trace and Mark on the mother watch.
Going to try another noon sight today after problems with the maths
yesterday. Hope everything is ok back home, and Frank is not ruling the roost
too much in Lymington, Mark.
Just making sausage and beans for breakfast, and the call went up ‘WHALE!’
and a pod of (we think) pilot whales slowly swan alongside for a while with
their young.... fab start to the day. Starting to warm up now, at least
during the days. Will be nice when we actually start heading for St. Lucia
– still in wind seeking mode. Hope you’re all enjoying watching the race
spread out!! we are quite sure we are the furthest South of all..... so
much for a cruise in company!! Hey ho the scenery is nice.

Hope Jessie had a good birthday and Jim is progressing well.
