Hot Stuff - Fairies of the Lost Arc - Chapter 3
We fairies feel like the wind gods are trying to take us back to the UK -
for the last 24 hours we have had the delightful pleasure of beating upwind into
15/20 knots. We don't think our lovely Hotstuff is too happy about it either!
Even so spirits are high. The stars were out in their full glory last night and
the solar panel came out in the day – for 1 hour between squall dodging -
sunshine and bikinis avec the very expensive sea salt hair spray. Beauty salon's
monthly turnover is soaring.
Oh what a night!
Lots of drama chez nous! We VHF'd our green glowing neighbour (for tonight)
called Andrew Halcrow. Andrew is four weeks into his year long single handed
trip sailing his boat Elsiarrub (.co.uk) around the world NON STOP! Good luck
Andrew!
Activity hour was inevitably interrupted by rain but after a delicious stew
- thanks to the Nightowls - we opened our first boat present courtesy of the
divine Karen. We are all now pipe cleaner animal experts and are hoping to
win the Turner prize through ARC recommendations. Captain Nikki also advises us
that they are very useful for cleaning the heads (toilet). Somehow Karen always
pulls it out the bag; moral is high in all areas of fairy society
on-board.
All other business enterprises were halted by the rain - the relentless
rain.....maybe it's a sign that we all need a shower....
With love and fairy dust from the Girls4Sail crew on
Hotstuff.
