Happy December everybody great down wind sailing
hey haven't eased a sheet for three days had a great ride through the waterfall
rain showers and 40 knot squalls last night (29th) All is well on Board had a
lovely dorado dinner sushi to start fresh from the sea is definitely best.
Our crew are now almost ready for some straight
line sailing its been a tough trip so far but hopefully after sunday we will
actually see some trade winds oh bliss.
No more water proofs and a flat boat to lie
on.
I thought beating to cape verdi last year was crazy
but this really does take the micheal. Sorry Micheal (Mick) All I can hear from
the cockpit is excited spannish , is it excitement or fear ha ha ha
One of the guys (I.T Guru) said today I will
never winge about my job again how and why do you do this crossing twice a year.
The answer is simple and two fold I love the oceans and people like you pay to
come and watch people like me having the time of my life.
Should put a position on I suppose but I wont you
can all read the tracker and don't worry our climb north is deliberate - we will be
back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lots of Love Hi Mum (Pauline Burton "Alauda Maris"
ex finish line for several ARCS)
Happy Skipper
