Hi everyone from a hot and sunny Incisor. Today we are
making most of the light winds by relaxing on deck in the sun and sending Derek
up the mast to keep an eye out for any nearby competitors! Yesterday we spotted
two separate boats within a few miles, one incommunicado and the other a German
crew headed for Puerto Rico which Alex chatted to on the radio - sadly no ice
creams onboard...
It’s been nice to be able to catch up on some sleep
and re-charge our batteries for the days ahead. We continue to enjoy top notch
meals, shepherd’s pie last night followed by more bacon sandwiches for
breakfast this morning.
Derek and Sandra, much to the surprise of the crew were both
on the foredeck helping with a spinnaker change last night. They are slightly
in shock themselves...
Frans continues to rave it out with his headphones blaring,
Mikhail continues to impress us every day with his improved English, Ingrid has
washed her hair (very exciting) and Mark’s facial hair continues to grow
much to the disgust of Katharine.
Sandra has just discovered her favourite Spanish honey
roasted peanuts in a hidden locker – we don’t think they will last
long.....
Until tomorrow from the mid-Atlantic
