“Heavy clouds but no rain.” Sting
Quite a contrast.
Today was picture perfect and gave us a chance to dry out.
A 360 degree view of white fluffy clouds with varying shades of blue
skies.
Somewhat like the wallpaper of a baby’s nursery.
The boat and the rest of us got a good wash. Voluntarily, not from the
heavens.
Tried the gennaker but the winds would not cooperate.
So we rested and worked on projects.
Go-Pro, bread, and food sorting. And maybe some reading.
The fruit hammocks have dwindled to one.
And the pasta dishes are appearing.
The saloon is now usable for activities other than foul weather gear, life
vests, clothing changes, and our Atlantic paper chart.
Somehow it does seem appropriate that the old charts would be labeled,
“there be dragons here.”
Amazingly, we had boating company today.
There is a certain comfort in recognizing a kindred spirit on the
waters.
Time for watch.
