Fairies of the Lost Arc - Chapter 6
No. of Italian Canapés – 3 each
No. of washed ladies - 9
Fairy ARC spa opened with the arrival of the sun today. We decided that Hot
stuff was too heavy in the now light winds and a removal of grime was necessary
for proper weight distribution. Operation complete - skipper is happy to
announce that 9 clean women can now finally sail in the right direction(!) and
have topped a speed of 11.7 knots upwind. Impressive!
It's been a day of new beginnings.
A new word 'clean' was added to our dictionaries.
The Laundrette opened at dawn - read ahead to understand bucket and washing
process...
The Great ARC bake off started. Jo and Nikki kicked it off with a stunning
lemon drizzle cake. They went for the rustic style of a 'slant cake'. Read
previous blog to understand lengths of the cooking process...
Over to Charlotte's greengrocers - a generous helping of fruit went into
lunches salad today. Our favourite tomatoes also ran out at lunch... however,
Nikki decided to cheer us up by becoming one. She is trying to start a tom face
trend - not sure Tricia and the elf and safety police are too impressed.
On the less successful side of things - epic fail on the dry stores
provisioning. We have discovered why the pasta has been compared to wallpaper
paste, dumplings or bricks. Instead of being durum wheat it is semolina ... YUK.
There we were blaming it on the gas.
For today's insight into life on-board we want to educate you all on how to
shower the Hot stuff way:

After the dismal few days we have had in the rain and gales, today was a
new day; mutiny has been abandoned.
Signing off the blog watching the sun go down, almost eating cake and
having a Queen sing-along hour... "Fatbattomed Girls do really make our world go
round"
With love and fairy dust from the Girls4Sail crew on
Hotstuff.
