Day 12
Good day readers, and a big hello to
Mungo, wishing you well from the Biscay five! Hope the medication of Pussers
Rum is hitting the spot !
The Challenger 3 crew AKA “Oceans
14” celebrated with a half way bash sponsored by San Miguel and Monte
Cristo - a real salubrious affair. Spirits were high but none were consumed !
The galley has meanwhile been turned into
an Artisan bakery. Sell your shares in Greggs now – we’re coming
after them.
Oceans 14, the newly formed boy band are
currently in rehearsals of the world famous song : “If you’re happy
and you know it clap your hands” .. this tuneful melody will be performed
with great agility in five languages including our very own language of Scandik
- for all the Hurdy Gurdys out there !
Our ETA in St Lucia is sometime in December,
hopefully 2013 .. this is of course subject to many factors. Our latest view is
3 days motor sailing followed by a few days brisk down wind running to the
finish line .. God be with you and fair winds to you all
Addendum to day 12: Rupert would like it
to be known that he is outraged after being omitted from the list of
competitors in the beard growing competition. However, on reflection the
pitiful growth of face fluff is so miniscule it is clear to see how the
oversight could have been made.
