Good afternoon all me lovely's another fine day here in mid Atlantic, beautiful sun,
perfect wind angle and strength. We agree we have every piece of sail cloth up
and we require a cheese burger and coke and Jacko a mojito and swimming pool and
his quote for the day is “Steve i want you to send it to St. Lucia!!!”. This is
a good plan.
I was thinking the other day, bacon is not bacon and sausages aren't
sausages any where else in the world, they just don't taste the same, the things
you eat on board are properly completely different than at home. We have managed
to make up various concoctions of food and I have managed to do the same with
condiments... very proud of myself, I have achieved greatness through
condiments. My sugar addition has now gone down and my man boobs have now
disappeared although i was not convinced i had any in the first place... fit and
healthy!!
We had a very quiet night in last night, huddled in the cockpit looking at
the stars and listening for all the sounds of nature, (i did have a tummy ach at
the time!! he he) ITS AMAZING when stars are out what you see and what you think
you see, you make up your own patterns and shapes and the stories that come out
and what you find out about people is fantastic. We have a great bunch of people
on board and get on well, we have a nurse, a architect, teachers,
engineer, a stud muffin.... you decide who that may be, if we got stuck on a
desert island we would survive!
Funny last night as listening to sound we herd the call of the wild, it was
a whale and very close,VERY CLOSE,on studying this sound we realised it was
actually the sound of the boom moving around the gooseneck, how embarrassing,
funny at the time. We have great stories of ghost pirate ships and those who
believe vampire's and werewolves, in our case werewhales... not sure where that
came from but sounded good.
Anyway must go, more slippery fish to catch, three so far and they all got
away they where massive honest! Think topic on the other watch must be to do
with fifty shades of grey, they must be having to good a time, they keep talking
about safe words, I think i may have stepped on to the love boat and did not
know it. St. Lucia here we come 900 nm to go yee haa.
Keep messages coming good to here from you all.
Happy sailing.
