Depending on how you count it, this is probably our final day at sea. We
should arrive around 4am boat time or midnight local time. If the wind holds
(and our sails dont give out) then we may even make it before midnight –
possibly even 11pm local time when a few bars might still be open (so I am
told).
Certainly, this is the last round of watches and I just clocked off Yellow
Watch with a certain degree of sadness – tempered by the excitment associated
with an imminent foreign landfall and stable accommodation.
Since our Yellowbrick is on the blink, here is a position update.
As I write, we are 60nm from Rodney Bay. Position 14*23’.10N and
59*58’.68W. Speed about 9.5kn. We have a good following wind of around 25-30
knots.
