Tuesday evening marks night number 2 aboard Adagio. The boat is handling well and the crew is great! Last night was lumpy and 'rolly' as we pushed through the Gulf Stream but all told it was a very good crossing. It took a little bit of 'adaptive reasoning' to look at a nearly 50 degree difference between our heading and our course over ground. Strong current? I think yes :)
We declared ourselves 'though' and happily into steadier seas after lunch. We are now enjoying a brisk south-southeasterly run toward a waypoint which should see us wet of this advancing low pressure system. Then we'll turn further to the east and make the last leg run for the BVIs. All told a safe and mostly ... well sort of ... comfortable ride thus far.
