Well we passed the 1000 mile mark, that’s nautical miles at 9:17 this
morning. That’s after a frustrating night of light winds and big swells. We
spent the morning taking down sails and putting up downwind sails and for a
while we put a spurt on but that was more due to squalls going through. It’s a
lot hotter sea temperature 25.7 C and at least we can do a bit of sunbathing
waiting for the next squall. Eilidh spotted something orange in the water and we
diverted to investigate. Thankfully it was just a plastic container. Skipper
caused a bit of amusement doing a fancy dance early this morning but he was only
waiting for Duncan to finish putting his make up on in the loo.
After lunch we had a lovely, impromptu crew sing-song. Videos to come at a
later date!
