Louise - Blog 5 - 7th Day at Sea

We had a nice dinner yesterday and wind and sea gave us a nice sail during the night. Some clouds but still beautiful to watch the stars, and  the half moon made a show of moving amongst the clouds.

When on night watch you are in your own world, as nobody is around here in the Atlantic. But look at 00.43 green and yellow lights were spotted. It very much looked like navigation lights. Down to check the AIS. A Chines boat Xia Zhi Yang 6. OK, we are not alone. But it was af funny feeling seeing a boat for the first time in 4 days.

Today we have passed the daily routines, made some repairs. Unfortunately, we have not fixed our genoua, as we stick to our motto “Better safe than sorry”.

No major problems have occured today so the crew are relaxed after a nice meal. Right now we are making our way at 5 kts with wind 16 kts and expect to have another nice night.
