Tinia - One week gone.

Exactly a week has passed and its 2000 kn miles to go.
The back of the boat bananas are now ripe and thence followed a minor dispute about the nature of the white scum on them - salt (ha ha ha) or MOULD! A small flying fish landed on the deck yesterday and we wondered why fish fly. One sensible theory was that they are escaping from predators and the other = errrr!! 'recreational activities'. The spinnaker was raised for the first time yesterday and is up again today - what a lovely sight. Last nights sleep felt like a piggy back ride on a frog - not the best. You may wonder what there is to see out here -its constantly beautiful evolving scene - yesterday's stand put features were a 296 meter long tanker on the horizon and an empty plastic fuel container that came with in feet of us. A moon rainbow was visible 2 nights - lovely.
Sunday lunch - slow roasted lamb in white wine with garlic and bay leaves, roasted carrots and potatoes.

Fishing lines out again - we're hoping for a tuna today.

A blanquette sauce
To make for veal
Fishing tackle to unravel
And after lunch, a game of scrabble.
