It was a bloody good day to go sailing yesterday (search 'It's a bloody
good day to go sailing' by the Wolverines on YouTube.) Boat insanity has started
to kick in as we blasted this song at full volume on repeat and jigged about the
cockpit.
The more time we maidens spend at sea ... the more we lead a simple life.
On-board we have no communication with the outside world except for essential
comms, navigation, weather and ARC race updates. We have therefore forgotten our
phones, internet and Facebook!
So how do we spend our time amusing ourselves? We have two maidens Boyd and
Amanda as our entertainment Queens. A fun packed three weeks indeed! As soon as
"Hot Stuff" airs on deck we all go a little bit wild, muster up top and the fun
and games begin in the sunshine with only each other, the clouds and flying fish
to watch our antics.
Yesterday we dabbled in our artistic flare. Each maiden drew a characature
of the poor soul who they wake up for watch. It was a revealing hour to say the
least; it soon became apparent that art is not exactly our strong point. The
analysis of the activity was that Dawn is clearly seen as the most beautiful
maiden, JC is identified night and day by her Musto Cap, Amanda's luscious locks
and big smile draw us all in, Sarah is definitely the cool maiden in the bunch
with her matchy matchy sunglasses, on pair for each day of the week, when we
think of Marlys we think of a cross between princess Jasmine, Cleopatra and a
pirate, even on paper Kat is a classy bird, Boyd is turning hippy, Linda is
still as glamorous as when we left adorned with accessories to boot and Nikki is
a complete boat head - as in literally she was drawn as a body with a boat on
its head.
So on the schedule for the rest of the week - drum role please:
- Hot Stuff's Got Talent. Saturday evening, 7-9pm, SEA.I.T.V.
- Come dine with me. Watch teams take on the galley.
- It's a 'knot' out gameshow

- Christmas Day 06/12/2014

is a must.

promised to be entertaining for you all. Be there or be triangle and BYOB and
