Aislig Bheag - log Day 12 - Dancing by Moonlight

Hi  Folks

 

The temperature is rising and what is left of the butter is definitely melting!  As some of the crew have changed their watch partners, Don and Kate appear to be gelling quite well and Eilidh is threatening to throw Duncan’s phone, with persistent half hourly alarms overboard.  Janice and Alison are being supported at the helm by John who is considering a change of career to professional dancer/entertainer after his star performance last night during an invigorating game of ‘Articulate’ by moonlight.  Who could ever have imagined “jogging” could look so good. 

 

One small member of the crew (The Baby Jesus) went into hiding overnight and re-appeared this morning, parascending into Don and Kate’s cabin through the porthole. Phew!

 

With Don at the helm at 08.17 UTC this morning, we crossed the 2000 mile point. Hurray!  Only approximately 800 miles to go.  I suspect there may be a nomination in the next prize giving.
