Celebrate - Over the Horizon
OVER THE HORIZON by Jay Ailworth
Cape Town lies 700 miles in our wake,
To reach St. Helena leaves another 995 to make.
Adela is in the northeast 140 miles ahead
She got so far out in front while we were anchored and in bed.
Slowly we are catching the Fleet,
With good winds CELEBRATE is swift on her feet.
Now flying fish frolic alongside
The blue horizon empty and wide.
Off to starboard we see a leviathon blow
Oblivious to us he crosses our bow thinking thoughts we will never know.
We look forward to a wonderful day
As we motor sail nicely making way.
Until next time...
Charlie, Cathy & Jay
