Widago - St. Lucia Leg (2): Running Downwind
Spent the past day flying big blue downwind towards St. Lucia. Winds have been steady between 19-21kts with 7-9 rolling seas that continue to get more organized. We seem to be huddled in a nice pack with Distant Shores II, Anorak, and Sea Bear dancing in and out of AIS range.
Since we are settled into the passage, I persuaded the boys into their science lessons in exchange for cheeseburgers on grill. We are working our way through the fresh fruits and veg - even felt good enough to eat salad at lunch. Not a bad way to detox after the shenanigans in Mindelo. Once we clear out enough space in the fridge & freezer, the fishing gear comes out. Mahis beware!
