Emily Morgan - Day 7, Happy to help.

Another lovely day sailing along in the sunshine with the spinnaker up and actually going in the right direction, the wind is a little fickle.
Just before lunch we hear a squawk from the radio, it was Seabee trying to raise another boat, after a few attempts with no reply from the other boat we called back to see if we could help.
Seabee had rudder problems and required epoxy, glass cloth and some hose clamps to fix their rudder post. We had all onboard Emily Morgan so we snuffed the kite dropped the main pulled in the fishing lines and headed to their position about 2 miles north of us.
While the crew on deck prepared for the transfer Bones went below to gather the supplies needed and placed it all in a dry bag.
As we came alongside we used a throw-bag to get a line over to Seabee who pulled over the dry bag, in all the excitement Seabee lost a cockpit cushion over the side so while we were waiting for Stefan to sort through the bag of bits we carried out a cushion overboard drill. Quite pleased with our skills as we managed to get the throw-bag over in one throw and recover the cushion in a very short time.
We received the throw-bag back on deck and pulled across the dry bag that was now loaded with cold beers, Emily Morgan was no longer a dry ship at sea as we celebrated our comradeship with a welcome cold beer with lunch, well it is Saturday!
So here we are a few hours on with with the spinnaker back up and nothing to see apart from open sea and a sail on the horizon off our port side.
