Timshel - Cape Verde to St Lucia Day 11

A much better nights sail, both wind and waves more cooperative, still rolling and shaking (it sounds much worse down below than on deck) but at least felt we are making some progress and able to appreciate the moonlight. Celebrated 500 miles to go at lunchtime with bacon in fresh baked roll, Steven was not allowed to get any Bimbo (long life bread) I still can't believe they call it that. But it depends which time you are using - we are still on CV time and will have to go back 4 hours before we get to St Lucia which seems a lot. Just using up the last of the bananas, which started off green from the Market in Mindelo, still have a few oranges and limes so should be safe from scurvy for a while yet.
