This is the last blog entry before landfall today. A moderate little breeze kept pushing us most of the night while the loom of Salvador was clearly in our sight and dead ahead. The weather has been glorious since St Helena although we could have done with a little more wind. Our fresh food supplies lasted us all the way plus having some vegetables to spare. A lovely pizza last night that Julia made absorbed most of the ingredients that were going off giving the fruit flies less to feed on. No doubt we shall be besieged by another species in Salvador. Our water supplies were adequate and we have been careful not to waste our fuel.
The next blog entry will be when we set sail at the end of next week.
