Today was a day to stay onboard and get all those niggling little tasks out of the way, mostly those that Elaine had been unable to do since hurting her back. With those taken care off, it was time for Elaine to attempt a swim off the back of Paw Paw and, more importantly, be able to get back on board - success!
Then, while enjoying sundowners and watching the sunset from the swim platform, we said our goodbyes to Heidi 2.0 and Do Over, both of whom left for their overnight sails to Bora Bora and Huahine respectively. We then had a lovely surprise when hailed on the VHF by Nina and had a lovely chat. They were sailing pass Moorea from Tahiti on their way to Huahine tonight as well.
Weather permitting we'll see Nina and Do Over in a few days. In the interim, we're enjoying our last few days on Moorea and reflecting on the wonderful memories of this beautiful island that we'll be taking with us.
