We had a quiet Sunday yesterday and another quiet day today since it was a public holiday and everywhere was closed, with the exception of a few smaller supermarkets.
We did, however, keep ourselves busy with various odd jobs like topping up the diesel tanks, fixing the boom bail and strap, fixing the outhaul, doing laundry - Elaine is still loving her washing machine - making water, cleaning the hulls, cleaning under the floorboards and in the bilges, re-routing the TV to the main saloon speakers, fixing some additional bungies and getting some provisioning done in preparation for our time in Tonga, as we understand supplies are fairly limited there.
We did find time for some fun activities as well like facetiming Keenan and Brooke. Unfortunately William was far too busy playing in the kids area of Peter Piper Pizza to be bothered to talk to Grandma and Grandpa , but we did get to see him having a great ol' time and it was lovely
to
catch up regardless.
We also enjoyed afternoon cappuccinos and cake - Black Forest (Elaine) and Raspberry Cheesecake (Roy) at the brand new Aggie Gray Sheraton Hotel and Elaine managed to belt out a few tunes on her saxophone this afternoon.
Not bad for a couple of quiet days!
