Fleet II - Log day 9 - Friday 11th November;

A good sailing day – good and sustained average speed – we’ve made good progress and should be in Mindelo Saturday afternoon.  That’s well in time for the welcome party – just as well as this has been a dry boat for week!  My only concern is that Peter is enjoying the sailing so much I fear he’ll go around all the other islands first.

Mug of the day must be me – having just about dried my bedding out from a soaking yesterday I left the hatch in its vent position – so getting another dousing as we went through a rogue wave.  Duh...
