Jasmine - Day 10
--Date: Tue, 29 Nov 2016 17:44:53 GMT
--We are exactly at the midpoint of our journey across the atlantic . 37 07 .73 and have been for the last 9 hours, becalmed again.
The sea is like a millpond so we swam and had lunch then experimented with the spinnaker because Joxer is an optimist, then packed it away again and started the engine.
Apparently they have wind down south and some of the fleet are there ,we will just have to motor and see where we can find wind .
Mid atlantic swimming is good. We are guessing that no one ever swam where we did today.
We are hoping for wind soon but we have plenty of food and water.
We say hello to all the pupils in Templebreedy National School who are following Mike Hodder and Jasmine on this blog, hope you are enjoying it.
We saw a small group of dolphins today, they whizzed by the boat and didnt stay. They were about half the size of the rough tooth dolphins but we couldnt see any markings or other identifying features . Still no success with the fishing .
