Beltana II - Day 11 - we are on the way to Heaven
Beltana II - Day 11 - we are on the way to Heaven
At 3:30am this morning a lovely wished for 6 knot breeze came in from the
South South East and out came the Genoa, and the engine was turned off! lovely
light air sail so far, but this is a real blessing compared to the last 36
hours. Lest see what the day holds for us.
Last night’s dinner was also heavenly – Graham seared fresh tuna pieces,
but more surprisingly, he cooked a divine Roostli with potato and rosemary and a
bit of garlic. (Bad news is that we are running out of garlic) For
desert we had a another snack from a new Johnny concoction from the bakery –
yummy too (he has promised an apple pie tonight but serious doubt where he will
get the ingredients from!)
Batteries are absolutely fully charged – don’t have to worry about that for
a while. JOhnny has been formally appointed as skipper for the next couple
of days as part of his RYA Coastal Skipper Certificate course (the crew are
planning all sorts of mutinous behaviour so lets see how he goes under
pressure!)
