Beautiful!
Shalan is working well and his dedicated crew! Today the asymmetric spinnaker was flying, we were doing some nice surfs above 14kts, then around sunset a black sky was coming closer and we adapted ourselves to the caprices of mother nature's,the code O was in the air a few minutes later. It is night now, another pitch black night with a perpendicular swell who makes shalan a bit rolling even with full sails up..
I think Andrew had his dream fish and now I don't see any lines in the water, that still in our mind that monster tuna! We were thinking to add some tuna in our pizzas but we already turned as a tuna to be honest, tuna steak, tuna tartare X2, pasta and tuna, sashimi tuna, well I think I'd like a beef fillet please!
The last 2 days were a bit exhausting, the halyard, the toilet issues,
the water pump issue (stay on sometimes when some tanks are empty), and then the weather forecast making a last change and not in our favour,. We supposed to have a North Easterly wind which would make a straight course to St Lucia with a nice angle for the best speed. Unfortunately it is more east north east and sometimes east south east...Eole, Eole, come on! Anyway we still have a few cards in our pocket and let's try to catch a few more, hunt is on! apart the technicals little issues and
tthe uncomfortable boat rolling and making our sleep difficult as we roll on each other :o}, smiles still on every faces and we passed the 1000nm to destination, the taste of the girls and the rum is coming, pirates are arriving, be ready St Lucia! So let's focus, get the best speed and keep the boat safe and we will!
Time to sleep now
Shalan out.

Pic of the Day: We had a play with the GoPro and got some cool video's of the boat sailing along underwater. Here's a picture of what she looks like beneath the waves!
