Lexington - Namena Island

We left Savusavu Copra Shed Marina this morning after a three night stay. We have come to Namena Island inside a large reef that extends from Vanua Levi, a large island of Fiji. We are on a mooring ball just on the northwest of the island. We have had a very relaxing afternoon and evening. I took the dinghy around the island, about a mile long. It is a nesting area for birds. I saw many birds on their nest. I think I saw male birds feeding the females on the nest. I think I saw one young bird sticking its head up. I did not have binoculars so I am not for sure. It is a lovely mooring with a gentle motion on the water to rock me to sleep. May fair winds fill your sails with gentle rocking! Bob
