We arrived at Christmas Island yesterday afternoon. The ARC had customs and immigration there for us. My only problem was that I carry drugs so we had to do some special forms and then they seal them in a locker on our boat until we leave. The biggest problem was that they lost their seals (left them on another boat with drugs) and we had to wait a little to find them.
This is a short stop over along with Cocos Keeling on the way to South Africa. These are nice islands to stop over and it breaks up the trip. We will have a lot of sailing before getting to Capetown.
We have a dive scheduled today and a tour of their jungle Saturday.
The photo is of the pier in the early morning.
May fair winds fill your sails with gentle anchorages.
