Abraxas 3 - Waves, sun and moderate winds
We choose to sail at hotter angels to the wind than most of our competitors, so we ended up quite close to the coast of West Sahara in the morning. So when we started to see lights on fishing nets we gybed onto starboard and are now heading a bit to the west of Cap Verde and still keeping our target wind angel of 150 degrees.
All well onboard with the sun smiling at us whilst we roll along in waves that are quite big compared to the wind that is mostly below 20 knots. Sailing now with a full main and our high clewed jib, so we are not pushing it very hard.
Have a great day!
