Lily - Day 1 - Leg 2

So we departed Mindelo among half, and fully, sunken ships in the harbour. Glorious start with all boats seeming keen to show their skills to eachother.

And then, after a nice and even windy start - no wind. The flapping game has started where sails bang this way and that, not driven by wind but the swells of the ocean. I am not complaining (ok maybe a little bit), the ocean is a good place to be stuck with more book reading, fishing and cooking.

Having run the engine for too long already I think we shall just do the doldrum wait for some wind. At least a 2 knot current is taking us the right way.
