Trifon - Trifon
22 November
Trifon is sailing in very light conditions and has had to motor through
some windless zones. This morning we caught a 5kg dorado which made for a
great sushimi lemon and olive oil dinner with the rest fried and served as
a main course. Robert our diving mechanic had to go for a swim during the
afternoon to remove yet another piece of plastic woven bag from the drive
shaft.
We have been having issues with starting the main engine over the past few
days and Robert has replaced the relay switch that I bought in Las Palmas.
Michael did the radio net for Trifon and there are not many participants
at the moment. Jon is still suffering from a heavy cold but is slowly
recovering and can contribute little until he is fit. We have a slow
rolling swell and sunshine but less than 5 knots of wind which is making
progress towards Cap Verde very slow.
All is well on Trifon.
