Blog 3 or is it 4 ?
zoe cant remember.... lets say .. ....4
Zoe here again .. the blog blond!
Ok sorry folks we missed yesterdays blog,
not the best weather to try and sit at the chart table and the keyboard would not staystill and I could not stay on the seat at the chart table!!
Also we were busy looking out for and trying to avoid lightning and rain squalls etc
With our more southern route we have avoided the worst of the weather experienced by the boats further North of us, and we just had the edge of the thunderstorm! We feel for the Salsa who that 42 knots last night!
Today is another day....... the winds are light and life is more relaxed, showers and fishing are available again.
yesterday we sailed 166 miles, however we only got 38 miles right direction!
not a good day!
Anyway, we're enjoying our game of 'DailyPlaylists' - every day each crew member has to pick 10 songs from their ipods with songs beginning with the 'letter of the day '. points are awarded for each song and bonus points for the band or album title with the same letter - a bit like scrabble......
yesterday was F's but only the skipper had the inclination to make a playlist - something to do with the weather! Today we're on W's....so we've had White Wedding by Billy Idol, Walk on the Wild Side by Lou Reed, Wake me up before you Go Go by Wham etc, you get the picture!!
so far Ian seems to be winning with his triple word score for 'wont get fooled again' from the album Who's next by The Who - however he almost forfeited all his points by playing reggae music before we get to the ' Reggae line'(40 degree west)- boat agreement no reggae until we pass this line!
Anyway, off now to cook the Mahi Mahi we caught today so lots of love to our friends and family and hoping you're all well and Happy 50th Birthday to Loopy Lou,
sorry I'm not there to celebrate with you, have a great evening!
