Rubikon - Day 12 - more of the same
Another day at sea, another day without any major events. Sailing is smooth and reasonably fast, with the wind blowing us straight towards the west.
Weather outlook from what we can see on the boat looks like we will continue with similar winds and speeds towards St Lucia, currently giving us an ETA between the 11th and 15th of December. The plotter is not quite sure.
After some intense debates about water-usage on board and communication styles, a relative peace (or truce?) seems to have been established.
On the up-side our sourdough is still alive and we continue to produce fresh bread every days (Which is then gobbled up in no-time).
With some fish for lunch yesterday, today's menu will likely be some Asian fried noodles with chicken, in order to reduce our meat-supplies and be able to potentially switch off the power-hungry freezer at some point.
The crew is awake, hence we have got the following VMG predictions to report (in kn)
Kai: 5.4
Martin: 5.3
Chris: 4.7
Alex: 5.2
Max: 5.4
Markus: 5.7
José: 5.6
That's all for today. More exciting news to follow tomororw.
