With the sound of “Highway to Hell” we departed the marina in Las Palmas around noon. The cheering crowd guided us the way into the Atlantic where beautiful sunshine and wind from the north was waiting for us. Although we crossed the starting line towards the back of the fleet, we climbed to the middle of the fleet in just four hours. The crew and the captain are excited to be on the way to St. Lucia. We placed bets on how many non-ARC-vessels we will see during the crossing and look forward to next weeks!
