Makara of Exe - Day 2 - Thai chicken curry

The forecast N/NE failed to materialise so we carried on SSW and turned right for St Lucia this afternoon. We have had real issues with our Watt & Sea. We have two mounting points on the transom for this device but it is not really designed to be moved at sea. The various split pins and attachments are poorly designed but it does work once it is running, apart form the occasional groan from its propeller and Mike.
Life is settling down to its usual routine at sea and Georgia and Mike have done most of the cooking so far. Jerry has been very busy helping Mike with the Watt & Sea and their language has been quite colourful. Dom has taken on the role of sailing instructor - funny that!
I have been struggling with the SSB radio but finally made it all work today. Email downloads are possible but very slow at 200bytes/min! So please do not send us any photographs.
You will be able to see us on the fleet viewer and we are hoping to catch up with the fleet tonight.
We have Thai chicken curry tonight but no booze. St Lucia is 2440 Nm miles away so we are hoping to open a bottle of champagne with 1220 miles to go.
