MR - Day 7: Headsail and hand-steering

After a rough night with several problems with the autopilot our captain decided to take another intensive assessment of the setting of our the sails. Following many adjustments we think that now we have found the perfect position for the pole of the headsail. Also, in the afternoon we tried to hand-steer the boat for the first time for a longer period. The result is that our ride is much smoother now, we’re going faster and we’re using less power than navigating with the autopilot.
We hope that the current setting of the sails remains being a good pick and look forward to do more hand-steering in the following days.
